5.5.3) INSULATING GLASS AT HIGH THERMAL INSULATION
Even if the magnetronic low-e glass has a good
transparency, it is able to maintain a high termal
insulation, (at both high and low temperatures ) with a thermal value of 1,4w/m k without Argon gas, which cannot be used together with perimetral sealing for insulating glass made by silicone.
5.5.4) INSULATING GLASS WITH TWO DEAD AIR SPACES
The triple-unit transparent glass consists of a heat reflective coated film suspended inside a two-pocket insulating glass unit. The Heat Mirror film reflects solar radiation, and the double air space minimizes the conductive heat transfer and maximizes cooling system efficiency (1,2w/m k as thermal value).
This solution requires to use both a 20mm spacer between lites and a proper ball joint (Art.R50).
5.5.5) EXTRA-CLEAR GLASS
Particularly suitable for shop windows of commercial activities, museums, or anywhere else where the maximum transparency is required, it can be of many kinds (monolithic, laminated, insulating, not tempered/laminated,...) according to the use.
5.5.6) SCREEN PRINTED/ENAMELLED GLASS AS
SUNBREAKER
A custom-made serigraph on tempered glass, especially if monolithic, can partially block sunbeams. Otherwise, to obtain a complete protective sunbreaker screen, it can be used an enamelled tempered glass (colour to
choice)
5.5.7) GLASS AS INTERIOR LINING
Enamelled/tempered glass can be used as interior lining for external and interior partition walls, false ceilings, by suitable fittings (Faraone's Vetrissimo Set) to ensure a high level of brightness at low costs.

In any case when glass is not drilled: by using proper ball joints (Art.J01 and Art.J02) or the latest Quadrifoglio system, or even, when glass is installed as support and compressed among gaskets without drilling. This kind of glass needs grinding operation.
